The best-selling The Commoner now with added strength and weight Upgraded to The Commoner 2.0

The updated 2.0 model has three bamboo stringers instead of two, giving it more strength and weight for better propulsion and stability.

The wide tail has a strong kick and a smooth concave slightly above the center. It has excellent rigidity, turns well, trims well, and has a good nose, making it an all-around nose rider.

If you use basic lake fins, you will be able to make radical turns, while fins with a wider base will provide more stability and make nose riding more stable.

The Commoner Design by JJ Wesseles

The Commoner (The Commoner) Origin of the model name...
The Common Day is based on a board that JJ Wessels shaped in his garage for his beloved wife, with the meaning that he wants to be with her at all times.

JJ Wesseles Profile

JJ Wessels is in charge of the creative aspects of the BEACHED DAYS brand together with Mitch Abshire.
He has been involved in various units including CAPTAIN FIN CO. and CYCLE ZOMBIES, organized by Scotty Stopnick, and has fully demonstrated his multifaceted talents in photography, video, art, and more.
Of course, he's also a skilled logger, and his technical footwork and noseriding have been featured in numerous movies, and he's even been invited to Joel Tudor's Duct Tape Invitational.

Impressions from Noa Ishii, a professional surfer who uses both short and long boards

The 9'2" board is fast to take off and not too long or short, making it perfect for practicing nose riding.

9'2” x 22 3/4” x 2 3/4” (68.56L) Approx. 8.4kg
Tail shape: Square tail Target: Beginners to advanced riders Material: IXPE soft top ( non-abrasive wax-on type) /HDPE bottom
Fin: Single fin Stringer: 3 Recommended FIN: CAPTAIN FIN / JJ Wessels MOD 9.75

It takes off quickly and at 9'2" it's neither too long nor too short, making it easy to practice nose riding.
It is also light enough that women and small men can turn it easily.

Shaped by AKU Shaper, with the world's highest level of technology

The EPS foam is shaped by the AKU Shaper, which has the world's highest level of technology, and faithfully reproduces the bottom concave, and is then double coated with fiberglass to achieve the ultimate in strength.

The exterior is made of 4mm thick IXPE foam on the deck and an HDPE skin on the bottom, with a soft surface created using vacuum bag technology.

We use IXPE material which prevents the soft top from feeling chafed, so we recommend using wax.

AQUQTIC DIVISION internal structure and details

● Three stringers are used to give the board strength and flexibility.
7-8ft. uses Wood Stringer with moderate flexibility 9ft.~ uses Bamboo Stringer with increased strength ● High density waterproof EPS foam ● Epoxy resin coating ● Double 6oz fiberglass and epoxy resin for extra reinforcement ● 4mm IXPE foam ● Epoxy resin coating ● 6oz fiberglass ● Epoxy resin coating ● Glossy HDPE bottom

ATTENTION

●Regarding fin screws: You can use your own fin screws, but in rare cases they may be difficult to close, so we recommend using the included fin screws.

●If the board is exposed to high temperatures or direct sunlight for a long time before use, air bubbles may appear on the board or the color may fade. Store the board in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and heat. Do not leave it in the car for a long time.
Due to the nature of the material used in the softboard, it will absorb some water, this is a normal phenomenon and not a defect, this water will usually drain out after use.

Daily maintenance: After each use, rinse the board with fresh water to remove any dirt, sand or salt, wipe with a clean cloth or towel and store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. Do not use solvents or cleaners on the board.
Rinse your board with fresh water, wipe it clean and dry before storing it in your board bag or board sock.

If you are going to attach the board to a roof rack or other vehicle and drive while the water is still draining, a thin waterproof cover that only covers the top is useful. It will prevent water from dripping off the board and make it easier to dry. When you get home, remove the cover and drain the water.
