Chris Christenson is a living legend who drives the San Diego fish movement, is arguably the world's best big-wave gun shaper, and continues to produce masterpieces in mid-lengths and twin fins. His masterpiece, the C-BUCKET, has been perfectly recreated with a soft-top and EPS core.

Using AKU data, the beautiful streamlined form and complex concaves have been faithfully reproduced. While it can handle barrels, it is also ideal for trim and glide. It is a wonderful design that provides a smooth feel for experts, and helps beginners cruise and develop their style. The two stringers provide the perfect balance of rigidity and flex. The finish has received the seal of approval from Christenson himself.

Shaped with world-class AKU Shaper technology

The board is shaped using the world-class AKU Shaper, and the EPS foam, which faithfully reproduces the bottom concaves, is coated with a double layer of fiberglass for maximum strength.

The exterior features a 4mm-thick EVA foam (or IXPE foam) on the deck and an HDPE skin on the bottom, with the soft surface created using vacuum bag technology.

Features a wax-free, textured soft-top with PEAR skin finish to minimize chafing.

Regarding Fin Screws

While your existing fin screws may work, they can sometimes be difficult to tighten, so we recommend using the included fin screws.

Before Use

If left in high temperatures or direct sunlight for extended periods, air bubbles may form in the board, or the color may fade. Please store the board in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and heat. Do not leave the board in a car for long periods. Due to the nature of the materials used in softboards, some water absorption may occur; this is normal and not a defect. This water usually drains out after use.

Maintenance

After use, always rinse the board with fresh water to remove dirt, sand, and salt, wipe it down with a clean cloth or towel, and store it in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. Do not use solvents or cleaners on the board.
Before storing it in a board bag or board sock, be sure to rinse it with fresh water, wipe it clean, and let it dry.

When transporting on a car roof rack before the water has fully drained, a thin, top-only waterproof cover is convenient. It prevents water from dripping off the board and helps it dry. Remove the cover to let it finish draining once you get home.

Regarding Color Irregularities on the Deck

Occasionally, some units may arrive with slight color irregularities on the deck. These occur during the manufacturing process and do not affect the performance or feel of the board in any way, so please use it with confidence. We ship out the units with the least visible irregularities whenever possible, but please note that we cannot accept returns or exchanges based on these color irregularities.
