Chris Christenson is a living legend who has led the San Diego fish movement, is arguably the world's best at shaping big wave guns, and continues to produce masterpieces in mid-lengths and twin fins. We have perfectly recreated his masterpiece, the C-BUCKET, with a soft-top + EPS core.

Beautiful streamlined forms and complex concaves are faithfully reproduced using AKU data. While it can handle barrels, it is also perfect for trimming and gliding. It's a smooth design for experts and a fantastic board for beginners to cruise and develop their style. The two stringers provide the perfect amount of rigidity and flex. The finish has received the seal of approval from Christenson himself.

Shaped using the world-class AKU Shaper

By using the world-class AKU Shaper to shape the EPS foam, and faithfully reproducing the bottom concaves, we have achieved supreme strength by double-coating the board with fiberglass and epoxy resin.

For the exterior, a 4mm-thick EVA foam (or IXPE foam) is applied to the deck and an HDPE skin is placed on the bottom, with a soft surface created using vacuum bag technology.

Features a wax-free, textured soft-top surface that minimizes chafing, plus a PEAR textured finish.

Regarding Fin Screws

While your existing fin screws may work, they can occasionally be difficult to tighten, so we recommend using the included fin screw.

Before Use

If left exposed to high temperatures or direct sunlight for extended periods, bubbles may form on the board, or the color may fade. Please store the board in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and heat. Do not leave the board inside a vehicle for long periods. Due to the nature of the materials used in soft boards, slight water absorption is normal and not a defect. This water typically drains out after use.

Maintenance

After each use, be sure to rinse the board with fresh water to remove dirt, sand, and salt, wipe it down with a clean cloth or towel, and store it in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. Do not use solvents or cleaners on the board.
Rinse the board with fresh water, wipe it clean, and let it dry completely before storing it in a board bag or sock.

When driving with the board mounted on a roof rack before it has finished draining, a thin waterproof cover that only covers the top is useful. It prevents water from dripping from the board and allows it to dry easily. Remove the cover to drain once you arrive home.

Regarding Color Irregularities on the Deck

Occasionally, some units may have slight color irregularities on the deck; these occur during the manufacturing process and do not affect performance or ride quality, so please use them with confidence. We ship units with the least visible irregularities whenever possible, but please note that we cannot accept returns or exchanges based on color irregularities.
