Chris Christenson, a living legend who spearheaded the San Diego fish movement, is undoubtedly the world's best in big wave gun shapes, and continues to produce masterpieces in mid-lengths and twin fins. His masterpiece, the C-BUCKET, has been perfectly recreated with a soft top + EPS core.

The beautiful streamlined form and complex concaves are faithfully reproduced using AKU data. While it can handle barrels, it's also perfect for trimming and gliding. It offers a smooth ride for experts and is a wonderful design for beginners to cruise and develop their style. The two stringers provide appropriate stiffness and flex. The finished product has the endorsement of Christenson himself.

Shaped with an AKU Shaper, which boasts world-class technology

The EPS foam, which faithfully reproduces the bottom concave, is shaped using an AKU Shaper with world-class technology, and then double-coated with fiberglass and epoxy resin to achieve maximum strength.

The exterior features a 4mm thick EVA foam (or IXPE foam) on the deck and an HDPE skin on the bottom, creating a soft surface with vacuum bag technology.

Soft top + PEAR textured finish with a wax-free bumpy surface that minimizes rubbing.

About fin screws

You can use your existing fin screws, but they may sometimes be difficult to tighten. We recommend using the included fin screws.

Before use

If exposed to high temperatures or direct sunlight for extended periods, air bubbles may form or discoloration may occur on the board. Please store the board in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight and heat. Do not leave it in a car for extended periods. Due to the nature of the material used in soft boards, some water absorption is normal and not a defect. This water typically drains out after use.

About maintenance

After use, always rinse the board with fresh water to remove dirt, sand, and salt, then wipe it with a clean cloth or towel. Store it in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight. Do not use solvents or cleaners on the board.
Before storing the board in a board bag or board sock, rinse it with fresh water, wipe it clean, and dry it thoroughly.

When driving with the board mounted on a car roof rack or similar, before it has fully drained, a thin waterproof cover that only covers the top is convenient. This prevents water from dripping from the board and allows it to dry easily. Remove the cover and drain the board upon returning home.

Regarding color unevenness on the deck surface

Occasionally, some boards may have slight color unevenness on the deck surface. This is a result of the product manufacturing process and does not affect performance or ride comfort at all, so please use it with confidence. While we try our best to send boards with the least visible color unevenness from our stock, please understand that we cannot accept returns or exchanges due to color unevenness.
