Chris Christenson is a living legend who has led the San Diego fish movement and is undoubtedly the world's best in big wave gun shapes. He continues to produce outstanding mid-length and twin fin surfboards. His masterpiece, the C-BUCKET, has been perfectly reproduced with a soft top and EPS core.

The beautiful streamlined form and complex concave are faithfully reproduced using AKU data. It's great for barreling, but also ideal for trimming and gliding. It's smooth for experts, and a great design for beginners to cruise and learn style. The two stringers provide just the right amount of stiffness and flex. The finish has been personally approved by Christenson himself.

Shaped with the world's highest level of technology by AKU Shaper

The EPS foam is shaped by the world's most advanced AKU Shaper, faithfully recreating the bottom concave, and is then double coated with fiberglass to achieve maximum strength.

The exterior is made of 4mm thick EVA foam (or IXPE foam) on the deck and an HDPE skin on the bottom, with the soft surface created using vacuum bag technology.

Soft top with wax-free uneven surface that minimizes friction + PEAR texture processing.

Internal structure and details

Two wood stringers with just the right amount of flex for strength and flexibility. High-density waterproof EPS foam. Epoxy resin coating. Double 6oz fiberglass and epoxy resin for extra reinforcement. 4mm EVA soft top with PEAR SKIN texture (or IXPE foam).

About Fin Screws

You can use your own fin screws, but in rare cases they may be difficult to close, so we recommend using the included fin screws.

Before Use

Prolonged exposure to high temperatures or direct sunlight may cause the board to bubble or fade. Store the board in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and heat. Do not leave the board in a car for extended periods of time. Due to the nature of the material used, the soft board may absorb some water. This is normal and not a defect. This water will usually drain away after use.

About maintenance

After each use, rinse your board with fresh water to remove any dirt, sand or salt, then dry with a clean cloth or towel and store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. Do not use solvents or cleaners on your board.
Rinse your board with fresh water, wipe it clean and dry before storing it in your board bag or board sock.

If you are going to attach the board to a roof rack or similar and drive while the water is still draining, a thin waterproof cover that only covers the top is useful. This will prevent water from dripping off the board and make it easier to dry. Once you get home, remove the cover and let the water drain.

Regarding uneven color on the deck surface

In rare cases, you may receive a product with slight color unevenness on the deck surface, but this is a color unevenness that occurs during the product manufacturing process and does not affect the performance or ride comfort, so please use it with confidence. We will send you products from our stock that have as little color unevenness as possible, but please note that we do not accept returns or exchanges due to color unevenness.
