Chris Christenson is a living legend who continues to produce masterpieces in mid-lengths and twin-fins, leads the San Diego fish movement, and is arguably the world's best big-wave gun shaper. His masterpiece, the C-BUCKET, has been perfectly recreated with a soft-top and EPS core.

Using AKU data, the beautiful streamlined form and complex concaves are faithfully reproduced. While it can handle barrels, it is also ideal for trimming and gliding. It is a fantastic design that offers smoothness for experts, and a great way for beginners to cruise and develop their style. The two stringers provide the perfect balance of rigidity and flex. The finish has been personally approved by Chris Christenson himself.

At 7'11, the numbers might sound a bit long, but it is a size that allows for easy trimming and a great sense of glide. Because it has more buoyancy than the PU-material C-BUCKET of the same size, even those with a larger build can fully experience the charm of this masterpiece. Of course, it is also recommended as a first board for beginners, serving as a funboard that makes take-offs and turns easy.

Shaped using the world-class AKU Shaper

Shaped with the world-class AKU Shaper, the EPS foam—which faithfully reproduces the bottom concaves—is coated with double layers of fiberglass to achieve maximum strength.

For the exterior, a 4mm thick EVA foam (or IXPE foam) is applied to the deck and an HDPE skin to the bottom, creating a soft surface using vacuum-bag technology.

Features a soft-top with a wax-free, textured finish that minimizes friction, combined with PEAR surface texturing.

About the Fin Screws

While your own fin screws may work, they can sometimes be difficult to tighten, so we recommend using the included fin screws.

Before Use

If left exposed to high temperatures or direct sunlight for extended periods, air bubbles may form or color fading may occur. Please store the board in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and heat. Do not leave it inside a car for long periods. Due to the nature of the materials used in softboards, some water absorption may occur; this is a normal phenomenon and not a defect. This water will typically drain out after use.

Maintenance

After each use, be sure to rinse the board with fresh water to remove dirt, sand, and salt. Wipe it clean with a soft cloth or towel, and store it in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. Do not use solvents or cleaners on the board.
Before placing it in a board bag or sock, rinse the board with fresh water, wipe it clean, and let it dry.

When transporting on a car roof rack before the board has fully drained, a thin, top-only waterproof cover is convenient. It prevents water from dripping from the board and helps it dry. Once you get home, remove the cover to allow it to drain.

About Color Variation on the Deck

On rare occasions, you may receive a board with slight color unevenness on the deck. This is a result of the manufacturing process and has absolutely no impact on the performance or ride quality, so please use it with confidence. We ship boards from our stock that have the least noticeable unevenness possible, but please note that we cannot accept returns or exchanges based on color unevenness.
