The 2+1 Egg, a soft-top EPS core board produced by Yoshida Tai, a leading longboarder from Kugenuma, Shonan.

Yoshida Yasushi, a leading longboarder from Kugenuma, Shonan, is renowned for his classic style centered on nose riding. DOJO is his first mid-length signature model, developed with Japanese users in mind as part of the AQUATIC DIVISION's FAR EAST SERIES.

Currently coaching both professionals and amateurs, he has created an egg board that can be enjoyed regardless of wave size or skill level. At the same time, it was developed with the idea that parents and children can surf easily, enjoyably, and safely.

With a 2+1 fin setup, it can handle a wide range of conditions, from small waves to overhead waves.

About Yasushi Yoshida

Yutaka Yoshida, born in 1981, is from and currently resides in Fujisawa City, Kanagawa Prefecture. He is a leading longboarder representing Kugenuma, Shonan, and is well-known for his classical style centered on nose riding. He has won the JPSA Special Event STYLE MASTERS twice, won the JPSA Shizuoka event, and has been active in professional contests. In addition to his career, he has worked as a buyer for one of Japan's leading sports chains and later as the manager of a global select shop. Since 2023, he has been running a surfing school at CHABORING DOJO, a surfing dojo, where he deepens the exploration and understanding of longboarding, and he is also involved in judging professional contests.

AQUATIC DIVISION

BEACHED DAYS' surf gear line, AQUATIC DIVISION, offers a range of surf gear approved by professionals both domestically and internationally. This includes a new standard surfboard with a soft top and EPS core, a perfect reproduction of Chris Christenson's masterpiece, as well as fins and wetsuits developed through repeated testing in California by brand founder Mitch Abshere and others.

You can choose from three lengths: 6'4", 6'8", and 7'2".

Recommended fins

The 6'8" length features Aquatic Division Singles 7.5 inches and Captain Fin Side Biters 3.75 I recommend this.

IXPE soft top, featuring a wax-on type that prevents abrasion.

We use IXPE material, which prevents scratches on the soft top, so we recommend using wax.

Shape with AKU Shaper, which boasts world-class technology.

Shaped using the AKU Shaper, which boasts world-class technology, the EPS foam, with its bottom concave faithfully reproduced, is double-coated with fiberglass to achieve maximum strength.

The exterior features a 4mm thick IXPE foam on the deck surface and an HDPE skin on the bottom surface, creating a soft surface using vacuum bag technology.

ATTENTION

●Regarding fin screws: You can use your own fin screws, but they may occasionally be difficult to tighten, so we recommend using the included fin screws.

●If the board is exposed to high temperatures or direct sunlight for extended periods before use, bubbles may form or the color may fade. Store the board in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and heat. Do not leave it in a car for extended periods.
Due to the nature of the materials used in the softboard, some water absorption is normal and not a defect. This water is usually drained after use.

●Daily Maintenance: After each use, always rinse the board with fresh water to remove dirt, sand, and salt. Wipe it dry with a clean cloth or towel and store it in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. Do not use solvents or cleaners on the board.
Before storing the board in a board bag or board socks, rinse it with fresh water, wipe it clean, and let it dry.

When driving with the board mounted on a car's roof rack or similar before all the water has drained, a thin, top-only waterproof cover is convenient. It prevents water from dripping from the board and allows it to dry easily. Remove the cover and drain the water when you get home.
