CHABO, also known as Yasushi Yoshida, has collaborated with YU, a master craftsman known as Yoshinori Ueda, and Tappy, a professional rider who is Japan's proud master craftsman. The DOJO is BDAD's first mid-length signature board in the FAR EAST SERIES, developed with Japanese surfers in mind. Currently coaching professionals and amateurs alike, he created this egg board that can be enjoyed by surfers of all wave sizes and levels. At the same time, it was developed with parents and children in mind to surf casually, enjoyably, and safely. The 2+1 fin setup makes it suitable for a wide range of conditions, from small waves to overhead waves.

IXPE soft top, non-rubbing wax-on type

We use IXPE material to prevent the soft top from rubbing against the surface, so we recommend using wax.

Shaped with the world's highest level of technology by AKU Shaper

The EPS foam is shaped by the world's most advanced AKU Shaper, faithfully recreating the bottom concave, and is then double coated with fiberglass to achieve maximum strength.

The exterior is made of 4mm thick IXPE foam on the deck and HDPE skin on the bottom, with a soft surface created using vacuum bag technology.

ATTENTION

●Regarding fin screws: You can use your own fin screws, but in rare cases they may be difficult to close, so we recommend using the included fin screws.

●If the board is exposed to high temperatures or direct sunlight for an extended period of time before use, bubbles may appear on the board or the color may fade. Store the board in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and heat. Do not leave the board in a car for an extended period of time.
Due to the nature of the material used in the softboard, it will absorb some water, which is normal and not a defect. This water will usually drain away after use.

Daily maintenance: After each use, rinse your board with fresh water to remove any dirt, sand or salt, then wipe with a clean cloth or towel and store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. Do not use solvents or cleaners on your board.
Rinse your board with fresh water, wipe it clean and dry before storing it in your board bag or board sock.

If you are going to attach the board to a roof rack or similar and drive while the water is still draining, a thin waterproof cover that only covers the top is useful. This will prevent water from dripping off the board and make it easier to dry. Once you get home, remove the cover and let the water drain.
