All-Around Basic Model "Singles"

SINGLES is an all-around basic fin that suits all categories of boards: single-fin shortboards, mid-lengths, longboards, 2+1 setups, and gliders.
If you're lost when choosing fins, we recommend starting with this all-around basic, SINGLES.

It's not a special pivot-shaped fin specifically for nose riders, but rather an all-around type with excellent turning and stability. Derek Eizenkerch, who led Captain Fin's golden age with Mitch Abshere, designed this new fin based on a universal basic template perfected in California in the 1960s and still used worldwide, adjusting the base width, tip shape, foil (thickness), and more.

The 8.0-inch size is recommended for single fins in the 6 to 7-foot range and as a center fin for 2+1 setups.

Fiberglass Characteristics

Fiberglass fins are made by laminating the same fabric used in surfboards, hardening it with resin, cutting out the shape, and then hand-sanding each fin to finish it. Due to the characteristics of fiberglass, the fin flexes appropriately during turns and then returns (rebound), providing drive for the board.

An original case featuring the Aquatic Division logo is also included.

How to Choose

7.5”, 8.0”: For single fins in the 6 to 7-foot range, and as center fins for 2+1 setups.
8.5”: For single fins in the 7 to 8-foot range, and for glider-style boards with less rocker.
9.0”: For longboards in the low 9-foot range.
9.5”, 10.0”: Best for all longboards in the 9-foot range, and also for nose riders seeking turning performance. Compatible with all tail shapes from round pin to square.
