All-round basic model "Singles"

SINGLES is an all-around basic that suits all categories of boards, including single fin shorts, mid-lengths, logs, 2+1s, and gliders.
For those who are unsure which fins to choose, we recommend starting with the all-round basic SINGLES .

This fin is not a special fin with a pivot shape specifically designed for nose riders, but an all-around type with excellent turning and stability. Based on the universal basic template perfected in California in the 1960s and still used worldwide today, the base width, tip shape, foil (thickness), etc. have been adjusted and newly designed by Derek Eisenkach, who led the golden age of Captain Fins together with Mitch Absher.

The 8.0 inch size is recommended as a single fin for 6-7 foot boards or as a center fin for 2+1 boards.

Glass fiber characteristics

The fiberglass fins are made by laminating a cloth, which is also used for surfboards, hardening it with resin, cutting out the shape, and then sanding each one by hand. The properties of the fiberglass allow the fins to flex and return just enough when turning, giving the board drive.

It also comes with an original case featuring the Aquatic Division logo.

How to Choose

7.5”, 8.0” : For single fins in the 6-7 foot range, or as a center fin in a 2+1.
8.5" : For 7-8 foot single fins and glider type boards with little rocker.
9.0" : A longboard that is just under 9 feet long.
9.5”, 10.0”: Best for all longboards in the 9-foot range, and also for nose riders looking for turning ability. The tail shape is all-around suitable, from round pin to square.
