AQUATIC DIVISION FIN

AQUATIC DIVISION is BEACHED DAYS' surf gear line.

From surf gear that has been repeatedly tested and developed in California, we introduce newly designed fin products by Derek Eisenkach, who, together with Mitch Absher, led Captain Fin's golden age.

Singles

Singles are an all-round basic that suits all categories of boards, including single fin shorts, mid-lengths, logs, 2+1s, and gliders. If you are unsure about which fin to choose, we recommend starting with this all-round basic, Singles.

This fin is not a special fin with a pivot shape specifically designed for nose riders, but an all-around type with excellent turning and stability. Based on the universal basic template perfected in California in the 1960s and still used worldwide today, the base width, tip shape, foil (thickness), etc. have been adjusted and newly designed by Derek Eisenkach, who led the golden age of Captain Fins together with Mitch Absher.

Mitch Abshere Signatures

This is the basic template that Mitch Absher has used for years for his California-style logs. The beautiful outline is a universal design that works with any board. This lake fin type allows for smooth turns and nose rides like Mitch's.

This is the best choice for 9-foot longboards in general, and also for nose riders looking for turning ability. The tail shape is suitable for all round boards, from round pin to square.

The Volan type, which features eye-catching hand drawings by Mitch's beloved son Indie, who inherits California culture, is recommended for surfers who seek tenacious, tricky turns and maneuverability.

The Pivot is a template with the perfect balance of pivot and rake for powerful turns and stable nose riding. It is best suited for nose riders over 9ft and works with both square tails and pin tails.

The Trimmed Down Pivot is recommended for loggers who want more maneuverability than a regular pivot fin.

The Golden Egg is best suited to 7-8ft San Diego Egg style boards, and is characterized by its smooth maneuverability regardless of the tail shape, whether squash or pintail.

Twix

Based on the traditional classic fish fin, it was developed to suit more modern performance twins. Compared to traditional keel fins, it is more upright and has significantly improved rotation. It is the best match for modern fish and twins with narrower tails, and it provides high speed and control down the line, maximizing the board's performance. Made of honeycomb, it is lighter and supports quicker maneuvers.

The Keel

This keel-type twin fin is the perfect match for classic San Diego-style fish surfboards. With a wider base and lower profile than upright modern twin fins, it offers less water resistance and the fastest fin setup. Made of fiberglass, it provides excellent board hold, resulting in unparalleled down-the-line speed.

Dos Caras Twin

These twin fins are a perfect match for modern fish surfboards with narrower tails. Their upright, pivot-shaped design offers high maneuverability, enabling speedy, skate-like maneuvers. If your board feels heavy and stiff with a classic twin fin setup, these fins will significantly improve handling! Made of fiberglass.
